A new column for Le Tigre, a curious French magazine, is entitled “Google Portrait”. The principle is simple: they choose a random person and start to investigate online about him/her. They gather all information left on the web (Google, Facebook, FlickR, etc) and write an article about his/her life. Really quite worrying. 
In the same vein, a friend who works as an architect told me last week that he’s been chosen for a project that will take place in China in 2009. The selection process consisted of an interview about his motivation…and a viewing of his Facebook profile. I was surprised as it didn’t seem to frighten him too much… I would be curious to know how many people accepted their boss as a friend on Facebook…
